Waxing

What is waxing

Regular shaving can become very time consuming and tedious. From professionally defined eyebrows to neat bikini wax and hair free underarm, you'll find waxing a welcome addition to your beauty regime.

Waxing is a safe and effective treatment used to remove unwanted hair from the body and can be used on almost any area. The result of a treatment can last between 4 to 6 weeks although it does vary from person to person based on hair type and growth rate. Waxing is not a permanent hair removal treatment, but it does have long term benefits as regular waxing can encourage a reduction in hair growth.

BEFORE TREATMENT
Please do not use or expose yourself to a sauna, steam, sunlight or ultraviolet lights 24 hours before the waxing treatment and 48 hours after, as the heat sensitised tissues may be irritated by the wax treatment.

between treatments
A few days after treatment exfoliate/dry brush the area a couple of times a week. Ideally before a bath or shower.
Apply unperfumed moisturiser to the area. Avoid shaving the area between treatments.

AFTER-CARE

Please follow these guidelines for the next few days to ensure that your skin is properly cared for and you get the best results from your waxing.
For 24 hours you are advised to:
Keep the waxed area clean, gently pat dry. Wear clean, loose fitting clothes
Apply an antiseptic cream to soothe and protect the skin.
